SCCM Prerequisites- Part 8

Install WSUS

Copy the WSUS setup (approx 82.7mb) to the server, or browse to the iso file.

Run it as administrator.

Click Next.

Select full server installation including administrator console.

Accept the licence.

Create a folder in C: Drive and store the updates locally to C:\Source\Updates.

Choose select an existing database and keep default and select Next.

Confirm a successful connection to SQL server.

Use the existing IIS Default web site.

Click Next.

Wait for the installation to complete.

Click finish.

WSUS will launch automatically in few seconds, click Next.

Click Next.

Click Next.

Click Next.

Click Start Connecting.

Do not proceed further, just cancel.

Install the hotfix for WSUS (approx. 29mb).

Wait for the installation to complete.

Hotfix installed successfully.
