Install Windows 7

Create a new Virtual Machine.

Browse to the Windows 7 Setup.

Click Next.

Click Yes.

Choose a location, preferably within the SCCM Server folder.

Allocate a Hard disk space of 40GB.

Configure as below.

Windows 7 installation in progress.

Machine will restart.

Installation continues.

VMware tools gets installed automatically.

Windows 7 machine is up.

Browse to the Windows Loader to activate windows.

Go to change adapter settings.

Click Properties.

Disable IP v6.

Change the IP to 192.168.5.10 and DNS to 192.168.5.1.

Change computer name to SCCMCLIENT and Domain to MYLAB.COM.

Type in the administrator account name and password.

The client is joined to domain.

Restart to complete the process.
